"Bergen Pinball Open
The tournaments will be hosted by and at the Bergen Pinball Club , Strandgaten 201 in the center of Bergen 5th to 8th of October 2023.
Bergen Pinball Club was founded in 2016 and has evolved from a small club to a club that offers a great number of well-maintained games in a wide range, from all ages. The Club is run by volunteers and offers different memberships and all kind of arrangements to spread the magic of pinball.
We welcome You to Bergen!
We will for the 4 days of Bergen Pinball Open host 7 tournaments, mostly on Matchplay or max Matchplay, but for the Classical Unlimited Qualification that is an continuously ongoing event with drop in tickets, there will be a scoresheet and you will have 2 attempts on each of the 8 games included. You will then have the possibility to make unlimited buy-ins to improve your score. Buy-ins are sold as tokens and you pay NOK 100, - for 3 attempts on any machine(s).
About the location
The tournament will be hosted at the Bergen Pinball Club in the centre of Bergen. We will offer you minor meals and snacks at any time. There will also be a bar there for alcohol beverages and sodas. We will have our own liquor licence for this event so it will not be allowed to bring your own alcohol into the area.Quality Draft Beer will be served from tap!
Registration
The event has a maximum attendee of 64 participants, and if the event is full, you will be put on a waiting list. There is still a good chance for you to get a spot, cancellation happens all the time.

Classic Unlimited Qualifications (CUQ)
Scoresheets. You will have 2 attempts on 8 games included in the fee. You will then have the possibility to make unlimited buy-ins to improve your score. Buy-ins are sold as tokens and you pay additional NOK 100,- for 3 tokens/attempts on any machine(s).
Deadline for registering late scores is Saturday at 20:45! Please hand in you initial sheet well before. Playoff/Semifinal is Saturday at 21. Final is on Sunday 14:00.
Thursday: Warmup Tournament
Qualification: Max Matchplay of 20 rounds. Top 8 qualify for the semifinals.
Semi-finals: 8 players in 2 groups of 4 play one round on 3 machines, top 2 in each group advance to the final. Scoring 7-5-3-1.
Finals: 4 players play one round on 3 machines. Winner is the player with most points. Scoring 7-5-3-1.
Friday:
Strikes Tournament:
Progressive strikes, you are in until you have 13 strikes. Top 16 advance to the playoffs. Playoff: Group Matchplay.
Quarter finals: 16 players in 4 groups of 4 play 3 machines. Top 2 advance to semifinals. Scoring 7-5-3-1
Semifinals: 8 players in 2 groups of 4, play one round on 3 machines, top 2 in each group advance to the final. Scoring 7-5-3-1.
Finals: 4 players play one round on 4 machines. Each player chooses one, the highest seeded players machine is played last. Winner is the player with most points. Scoring 7-5-3-1.
Classic (Inc. 80s) Tournament:
Target Matchplay, first 12 players to reach 50 points or when time is up at 21:00, no more rounds 20:55. 12 players advance to the playoffs, scoring 7-5-3-1.
Semifinals: 12 players in 4 groups of 3 play one round on 3 machines, the winner in each group advance to the final. Scoring 7-5-3-1.
Finals: 4 players play one round on 4 machines. Each player chooses one, the highest seeded player´s machine is played last. Winner is the player with most points. Scoring: 7-5-3-1.
Saturday:
BPO Main:
18 rounds with group-matchplay of 4 players in each group. 24 advances to playoffs on Sunday and top 1-8 qualifiers goes directly to round 2 in the playoffs.
Playoff Classical Unlimited Qualification:
Playoff; 8 players in 2 groups of 4 play 2 rounds on the 8 machines, top 2 in each group advance to the final. Scoring: 5-2-1-0.
FastFunFrenzy
Three hours of FastFunFrenzy. The winner is the player with most points when timer hits 0!
Sunday:

Round1, qualified players 9-24, Head-to-Head in best of 5 games. 8 winners advance.
(1-8 qualifiers + winners from round 1) 16 Players, Head-to Head in best of 5 games, 8 winners advance.
